My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once
they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX, so much is known
about their temperament, training level and personality. Thank you for wanting to adopt!

My name is the same as the World’s Most Amazing Candy Bar…….in fact, my coat looks like the candy if you let it melt a little and smooshed it up a bit…YUMMY!! They call the dark chocolate with caramel color swirls a “Brindle” color when referring to canines.

I am a hybrid doggie of Mountain Cur Brindle/German Shepard hairytage, only I don’t run on petrol and electric, I runs on snuggles, love, and milk bones!!! By personality, I would be the best fit with an active owner who would take me hiking, running, and enjoy the great outdoors together.

However, at only 30 pounds and 8 months young, I will likely end up a mediumish grown doggie of 38-45 pounds…just the right size to curl up on the couch or bed and still leave room for you!! I will do best with a fenced yard or an owner that works from home that can take me out frequently to stretch my trim legs!! Long walks twice a day added with indoor activities like ball chasing, hide and seek, learning tricks, puzzle games will keep me happy and healthy.

My friendly disposition and overall calm demeanor will make me an ideal pet who can develop unique bonds with family members. I have super short and smooth hair with no undercoat which provides for low maintenance and low shedding!!

I am a happy, sensitive guy that is very focused and in tune with my hooman. I like praise and treats as rewards for attainment and positive training methods work best for me.

My smile is a bit lop-sided and the vet thinks this is possibly due to a jaw injury as a young pup. However, this doesn’t deter my happy, “life is good” vibe. I am appreciative of my second chance at life and love every minute of this wonderful world.

I get on great with all of the dogs and am friendly to every hooman that I meet.

Whether or not you are a fan of the Reeses’s candies, I know that you will love my sweet nature and sunny disposition. Please fill out a no obligation online application and talk with my foster family today!!
