Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey is a rescue that I received from a friend of mine, roughly 6 months ago. He is a very sweet, loving, playful pup with lots of energy and personality. He is approximately four years old, is neutered and is up to date with all his vaccines.
I do not know what his previous home life was like, but he is extremely skittish and nervous. He struggles with change and needs someone who will be extremely patient and compassionate with him. When I first took him in, I lived alone. As of about 3 weeks ago, I now have a new roommate and, unfortunately, Joey has not been adjusting well to having a new person in the house. Joey does fine with my roommate when I am not home, but when we are both home at the same time, Joey barks every time my roommate gets up from a chair, or moves suddenly.
I believe Joey would thrive in a home with one single owner, or in a home with a well established couple or family. He needs calm and quiet as well as lots of love, patience and compassion.
