My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Berit is a quiet, petite gray/white female kitten who is developing faint tabby stripes. IF she knows and trusts you she is friendly, will let the foster mom hold her or place her in her lap for short sessions of petting. She enjoys head scratching and petting. At this age Berit has periods of rest and calm and then is off to be kitten-active. When in play mode, she will try to treat your hands like another kitten, hence, children over age 7 are recommended. Berit will play with cat toys by herself or interactive toys with you. She enjoys watching the action out the window. Berit has not met dogs, nor cats outside her immediate sibling group and she is shyly avoidant of strangers until they have been around for a couple hours. Like most cats, she is afraid of vacuums, thunder, and fireworks. Berit has a quiet purr, which starts up about a minute after receiving attention from a trusted person. She was born April 2020. Berit uses a sisal cat scratch post. She hopes you will give her time to trust you and blossom into a special companion. She will benefit from another kitten for a pal. Siblings are available.

Cat Tales Rescue, a 501c3, has paid the following prior to the cat/kitten’s adoption: A physical with the vet, the Feleuk/FIV test, worming medication, 3 distemper shots, 1 rabies shot, a microchip, and spaying/neutering.

If you are gone 7 or more hours a day (after this covid problem), please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). Easier to do today than 1 -2 years later when you finally realize the need.

Most adoption fees start at $135 for adults, $165 for kittens. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492. Or email cattalesmn@outlook.com.
