ELLIE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!! Ellie is a spunky little girl who is very excited about life and an excellent companion! She came to us earlier this year having been shot multiple times with a BB Gun and suffering from a chronic fracture in her back leg.

Full of energy, Ellie doesn’t let her former leg injury hold her back from anything; she is excellent at agility and would love to live with someone who will help her channel those skills. At the same time, she loves cuddles! Ellie is so sweet natured, she loves nothing more than being with her humans, no matter what they’re doing. And nothing beats her excitement to see you when you get home. Her favorite snacks are raw carrots, coconut oil and pupperoni.

Ellie was fostered by a certified trainer who has taught her to trust humans again after her rough start in life. The trainer will meet with Ellie’s new family to explain the lessons and commands she has learned. Like most dogs, Ellis is fearful during thunderstorms, fireworks and gunshots.

Since Ellie likes to chase critters in the yard, she will need a home with a fence. She takes some time to warm up to new doggy friends, but once she’s comfortable she would love to have a furry friend to snuggle and play with. She is also a great car rider. At somewhere around 4 years old, this little athlete has a lot of adventures ahead of her!
