My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my Forever Family! My name is Skye. I’m a 1 yr. old handsome champagne colored youngster, with fantastic green eyes and adorable quirky ears.

I attended a birthday party yesterday and was told I was so handsome, a good boy, well behaved inside the house and outside the house. People sure loved me! I was around children from 10 months – 10 years and was good with them even gave them sweet kisses. I was supervised since I’m still young, working on my manners and didn’t want to knock them over, which I didn’t! One of the babies gave me my chew rope and I gently took it from him. Later he came over to me and laid by me which I really liked.

As I stated earlier, I’m working on my manners: Sit, stay, come, gentle, down and am very treat motivated. I love to play with my squeaky toy, tennis ball and will play tug of war with my rope. I’m 95% house trained but need to be reminded sometimes. I absolutely love walks, I will stop to look, listen, smell and enjoy the great outdoors. Speaking of the great outdoors I’d love a fenced in back yard at my forever home where I can play, romp, roll and do zoomies. Since I’m still young being in a crate all day is not my idea of fun while my people are at work. Do you know what would be fun?! Living in a forever home where someone can be with me during the day to play and love on me!

I sleep well in my crate at night, I whimper for a few minutes until I get settled. I get along with other dogs and am learning how to not play too rough with them, I’m young and learning my manners. My previous foster home had cats which I didn’t do well with so it would be best not to be in a home with them. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots. I’m ready to for my forever family! Are you ready for your forever dog?
