My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar Bear is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TEXAS. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes cost of transportation to her new family. She is completely vetted.**

Hi everyone! I am Sugar Bear and I am so very lucky to be here and be ready to share my life with an amazing (and lucky) new family! You see, I had a mom, but she did not take care of me and I ended up with horrible skin infections and nobody wanted me. Then came along this wonderful group of ladies that said I was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen, and I just could not believe it! They wanted to take me home and love me just as I was. It was a dream come true as they also wanted to help me get healthy and regain my “beauty queen” status. Well as you can see by my photos, I have totally regained that title! Just look at me, I am quite the stunning specimen!

I am VERY active, love people (as well as kids but I may knock little ones down and not mean to) and other calm dogs my size. I’m still learning how to be the best of friends with other dogs and share my things, so a home with me as the star of the show would also be superb! My foster mom says that I would be better for an experienced dog owner and not a first time dog family.

I am not fond of kitties, so no kitties at my new home please. My new family MUST be an active family that loves walking/running/hiking/swimming. You will need a large budget for balls as I’m here to tell you that I have become uber obsessed with playing fetch at my foster’s house. She will throw it for me for hours and I could still go more! She says her arm hurts but I’m not sure what that has at all to do with me? I’ve never had anyone play with me like this before and it is the best! Would you like to bring me home and play ball with me forever?

So what do ya think? I know I am the most amazing dog ever so hurry on over and complete the adoption application at www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application.
