My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caddy, is an 8 year old spayed female. She is a Registered, papered pure bred. We have had her since she was a puppy.

All vaccinations etc are up to date, and she has a tattoo in her ear. Her last check-up report was – “in excellent health”



She is VERY affectionate and loves to cuddle. We are looking for a home for her with mature owner/s that have the time and willingness to devote to her and who are looking for a loving faithful companion. She is also very good with children, however as she is an older dog, her energy to run and play with children is moderate. She enjoys leisurely walks and loves to play in the snow – especially the first snowfall of the year!!! J She also loves to explore! We take her to our remote cabin at times and she will keep herself busy sniffing out all the new smells all day!



Care requirements:

Nails require trimming– she does not enjoy us performing this, so we generally take her to a groomer for this!

Ears– due to “floppy” ears, must be kept clean and dry. An antifungal cream may be needed at times if inflammation/itching occurs.

Age– arthritic tendencies from over or under exertion. Moderate exercise and weight control necessary to ensure healthy muscles. Stiffness alleviated with an anti-inflammatory when necessary.

Food– she LOVES her treats, yet they must be kept at a minimum for weight control! We also feed her a specific brand of food as she has mild food allergies which can cause skin itching and subsequent scratching.
