*** Sheba is at our Petco Mira Mesa adoption center ***
Solid black domestic short hair, spayed female, born approx. 5/20/20, #15658
Cats: possibly could coexist with a mellow feline Dogs: probably not Children: calm tweens
Born into Rescue House foster care in 2020, Sheba grew up surrounded by love. A cute-as-a-button kitten, she quickly was adopted. After three and a half years in a loving home, her people became unable to care for her due to work travel, and she returned to us. The Queen of Sheba now finds herself once again on a search for her forever family, and she couldn't be more excited about the possibility of meeting you!
The picture of true royalty, Sheba is a calm and cautious creature. She loves nothing more than climbing a tower near a window to survey her kingdom, paying particular attention to any birds or lizards who pass into view! Should she feel inclined to play, shiny foil balls are her toys of preference. The Queen absolutely will not tolerate the unladylike treatment of being lifted into the air-it is beneath her dignity! She luxuriates in a warm and welcoming lap, however, and happily will indulge in attention, which she requests with a sweet noise. Sheba's mind delights in the enrichment of indoor exploration, so she appreciates a larger realm!
Faithful and gentle, this cat would be a wonderful monarch for a quiet and tranquil home. She might tolerate co-ruling with a similarly mannered cat. We believe that dogs and young, rambunctious children would not suit her delicate sensibilities. Docile tweens and teens who will respect her boundaries likely would be okay.
Sheba is a queen without a throne and longs for the day when she can establish herself the ruler of a new realm. Will you welcome her into yours and adore her as she so rightly deserves?
