My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick is a 2 yr old, very handsome, blue merle Australian Shepherd. He has beautiful eyes, both being half brown/half blue.

Maverick is the happiest of boys! He is a quick learner and knows the basic commands, sit and shake. He loves attention, loves meeting new people and is good with children! Maverick gets along great with other dogs and enjoys play time with them! He does tend to be protective of his food at times, so a place where he can be fed separately would be great! A home with cats is not recommended, as he does want to chase them.

Maverick is housebroken and crate trained, however he can be vocal about the crate at times. He wants more than anything just to be with his special person. He loves car rides and walks great on his leash. He would make the perfect hiking or walking partner and will welcome all the new adventures! Maverick is neutered, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 50 lbs.

Maverick can't wait to find his new best friend or family to call his own! He is truly an amazing dog! He is being fostered in Dunlap, TN.
