My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Balto. I am a German Shepherd mix boy who weighs about 60 lbs and 1 yr old. The nice rescue people came and got my mother (Ghost) and I from a rural MS shelter. Her picture is with mine. Mommy has found her home but I am looking for my own. I am a very happy boy that loves people and the foster furkids are all swell friends. I meet other doggies well and my heart takes over and I greet humans with love. My foster furkids taught me what a doggie door is....first thing and that I must use it to go potty, I think it's really cool, and no accidents for this guy. My foster mommy is so proud of me for figuring out the crate training thing right away. I am such a very smart boy that is ready to learn and please my humans. I am a water baby that loves the water....I have the best time chasing the sprinkler, and playing in the kiddie pool. I also like to ride. My foster mommy tells me I need a fenced yard and active family to play and then I can have snuggle time. My foster mommy also tells me that my family needs GSD experience to help me learn everything properly.  Can you give a great boy like me a chance to show you what a great family member I can be? I promise to love you unconditionally and be loyal as long as I live!!!
