Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once
they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX, so much is known
about their temperament, training level and personality. Thank you for wanting to adopt!
Every one that sees me says "He is Oh So cute!!" ....which is kinda' interesting since I was named "Oso" the Spanish word "Bear".......I think that is called a homonym? Oh, well, enough grammar, now about me.
I am a Scottie Terrier mix, 10 month old little boy and am on the small side of the Scottie realm at 13 pounds. I will most likely be around 15 pounds when I is fully growed. Like all good Scotties, I am alert and intelligent. I am also nurturing and a great care taker. Two smaller puppies came in with me (relatives of some persuasion, no doubt), and I am their caregiver and protector. I also make sure the two little ones always eat before I do. My "babies" follow me around everywhere like I am their mama duck!
By nature, I am kind and very sweet; I can be very shy upon first introductions, but warm up quickly with love and hugs.
I am house trained and crate trained, know how to walk on a leash, and love my daily explorations around the ranch with my two babies in tow!!
My coat is wiry and completely black; I am compact and athletic; small enough to cuddle and snuggle on the couch, but strong enough for easy to moderate hikes.
After you read my bio and look at my photos, I hope that you can "barely" control your desire to adopt a little puppy named "Bear" (Oso).
