My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We do not adopt dogs from phone calls or emails. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR web site. Thanks for that.

To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.

There is an adoption fee of $250 for this dogs.

Wonder is about 7 pounds and should be about 8 pounds so has been wormed and working on that when he eats very well.

He has vision issues and we are working on those and raising funds. He has a malformed eye for his left eye. He also has a cataract in his right eye and with surgery he could see out of that one again. The vet recommends removing his bad, malformed eye and we agree.

Wonder has an eye appointment coming up soon so we can work on saving his sight. Thanks to some donors we are able to get that done for the cataract and hopefully remove the bad eye at the same time, depending on the cost.

He can see light and dark, sorta, and is able to track people by sound so gets around great there. He needs a home without stairs so he can come and go when he loves to zoom. He is so smart he mapped our place out quickly.

Wonder was been neutered and all healed up nicely. He is about 6 years old.

He also needs his teeth cleaned. With not being able to raise funds at events we will not be able to do that this year before they are adopted.

He is shy, sweet and gets along with all our dogs. He needs a dog friend in his new home about his size please. If we are not able to afford his eye surgery he will need a dog rump to follow like he does here with our dogs.

This boy is charming and loves snugging with every volunteer and asks to be picked up too.

No clue if he likes cats and no way to test him although this is a hunting dog breed so not recommended.

If you have no children, a one level home, have a fence line that can hold a very tiny dog and do not mind a tiny, sweet dog with eye issues this one might be your boy.

He will need work on his housebreaking. We have them crate trained already and coming along great on learning to ask to go outside.

Is there anyone out there who can take better care of this neglected boy than his last home?
