ZION - 6-7 years young, 45lbs, border collie mix with ADORABLE freckles ;)
Zion is a middle aged gal with lots of love to give! She was found abandoned at a kill shelter! :( Zion would do best in a home with a yard where she can be free to explore. Zion is leash reactive and has been actively working with a professional trainer to reduce her fears of other dogs and humans while walking on leash. Zion can be redirected but her new adopters must know how to properly and effectively redirect Zion's attention. Zion will do best in a home as an only pet, no dog or cat siblings for Zion!
Zion is a great girl and loves her current foster family. She has settled right in and acts like she has been there forever! She is obedient and listens well in the house. She is housebroken and food motivated so this will help with additional training. Despite being in her golden years, Zion is playful and will run around in the yard and even enjoys long walks and hikes. Being part border collie, Zion has a very active personality! Zion is looking for her forever home and although she needs some help overcoming current obstacles we know that she will be the best companion. We are looking for an experienced adopter who is willing to have the time and patience to put into the continued work and training that Zion needs to live the best life possible!
