My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note: Atlas is currently being fostered in Alabama and will transport to Rhode Island to join his new family once he is adopted. If you would like to learn more about him please fill out an application

Meet Atlas! He’s looking for his furever home! He is a 1 1/2 year old boxer mix. His rescuers named him Atlas because he looked like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, when he showed up on their door step. Since rescuing him, they have showed him love and what a true home feels like. He is a wonderful, happy, healthy boy. He is a BIG love bug, and his biggest request is lots of love and snuggles! He’s good with other dogs and is cautiously learning about his foster family’s kitty cat. He’s house and crate trained, walks well on a leash. He knows basic commands like sit, shake and stay. If you’d like to add Atlas to your home please apply below

If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adoption-application
