Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COMING SOON
Hi I’m Quincy! An approximately 4 year old Australian Shepherd male. I’m your very classic Aussie who is Velcro, listens well, minds well and is just a super good boy. I am good with other dogs and people but will still need to be managed with toys as I can get protective of them with other dogs. I will also need some work gaining trust when at the vet. Overall, I am the cream of the crop when it comes to being a companion dog.
Quincy’s ideal home:
-People who have time to include him into their life. He WANTS to be included with all activities..he’s an Aussie and will make a premiere companion dog. Retired folks! This dog is perfect!!! He is medium energy and will make a great loving dog for you guys
-a home where they’re willing to work with him being handled and building trust
-an active home! Quincy is an Aussie after all and loves playing ball and being out. Would not prefer adopting out to a full time worker!
-a home with no kids! He is good with kids but he can be shy, nervous and motion sensitive. As a precaution, Quincy will not go to a home with small children
-someone that can take care of his grooming! He has a very thick coat but loves being brushed. This is crucial to his well being, he needs to be brushed regularly
-a home who is experienced with the breed and is familiar with the traits of an Australian Shepherd. As amazing as he is, he will still need some understanding under certain circumstances
Quincy will make someone so happy!! He is sort of perfect but will require some work such has being handled and building trust. Quincy is UTD, neutered and microchipped. He is house broken and is familiar with the crate. If you feel like your household meshes with this boys needs, please fill out an adoption application.
