Hello bulldog lovers I’m Stormy!
I am a 4.5 year old male bulldog who came into CEBR’s care as an owner surrender. My house had a lot of medical professionals that would have to visit on a regular basis to check on my family and it became very stressful for me. I’m definitely a big boy as I weighed in at 97 pounds at my first vet visit. I have completely revamped my diet and am working on becoming more svelte and would expect my forever family to continue to help me reach my goal weight. I also have a curly tail which is hard to clean. I have an appointment to have it amputated so I can live comfortably again without all this irritation on my behind that can make me ornery.
I really like to be around my people and don’t always like being separated but calm down after a bit of complaining. Given I am a big boy I like to be around my family I have no problem trying to push open doors with my nose and will likely follow you around. I do have a foster sister right now and 95% of the time we ignore each other. Sometimes when we go out I try to show her who is boss, so I can use some work on my manners.
I know when its time for me to eat and I’m on a special diet. I don’t get to vocal about it and like my new food and that is when I also take my medicines. As far as treats, I like cucumbers, carrots and on special occasions chicken/carrot treats! I have folds on my face that need cleaning as well, so probably best that someone who has done this before adopts me.
So to sum it up, my ideal home would be with a parent that can help me with my manners when around other dogs and people. I like to go outside and for car rides because I don’t like to miss out on action. I don’t really care about toys…it’s all about the attention that I can get from my forever family!
As soon as I’m fully healthy I’m looking forward to meeting my permanent home.
