My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello there!

My name is Carla and I'm looking for my forever home.  I would prefer a quiet home.  I am shy at first and will need an adopter who will be patient with me and allow me time to decompress.

I do best with cat who are laid back (I like to be in charge).  I am fine with dogs who are respectful of my personal space.

I am completely litter box trained and am good at using my scratching posts.  I  would love a home with a cat tower where I can perch on it and look outside and soak up the sun safely indoors!

Do you think that that could be with you? Please consider applying to come meet me and give me the forever home that I so deserve.

More about this rescue

The mission of The Kitten Nursery is to provide a safe, healthy, healing and loving environment for abandoned, injured, and abused cats, as well as pregnant cats and their kittens.

The Kitten Nursery began with one volunteer and a couple cages in a garage for a nursing cat named Maria & 2 orphan kittens. The goal was to provide a place to care for pregnant or nursing cats & orphan infant kittens from local shelters.

We have grown to caring for abandoned cats, special needs cats and barn cats. This is all possible because of the network of dedicated volunteers, fosters, medical workers, food banks, etc.
