My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well hello there folks! My name is Little Debbie. I’m a 2 year old who was found as a stray and brought to animal control. I’m sure many of you have seen my photos and videos and thought, “Oh that poor thing. She must be suffering with those legs!”
Well let me tell you how wrong you are. Yes, my rear legs are deformed and are angled at 90 degrees, and my front legs are bowed out, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit. In fact, if you don’t watch out, I’ll go scooting past you so fast your head will spin! Now I can’t take stairs, but luckily I only weigh 28 pounds and my foster parents carry me out to do my business, or to put me on the couch with them so I can snuggle!
And let me tell you I love to snuggle! If you cradle me like a baby and stroke my belly I’ll purr like a kitten! Speaking of kittens, I am very intrigued by the cat who lives in my foster house. I look at her with my big eyes and listen with these great ears. I don’t miss a thing in this house, and if they would let me, I’d probably chase that cat! I’m also very interested in my foster brother & sister and I think I would do fine with other dogs.
Now I mentioned before that my foster parents carry me out to do my business. I know that I’m supposed to go outside but I’m not perfect yet and I do have some accidents. But I look at them with my big eyes and their heart melts and so will yours if you adopt me. I’ve been spayed and I’m perfectly healthy except for my legs which are going to be evaluated to see if physical therapy will help. I have a very healthy appetite and love treats! I will also let you know when I want attention with a throaty growl which makes my foster Dad laugh because it comes out of this little body!
So, if you’re looking for a feisty, loving, snuggling bully who just needs a little extra TLC, I am your girl! Love to all!
