My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

!!UPDATE: $150 for one kitten or $200 for two kittens.!!! Kaylee is a 5 month old DSH born in Cleburne, TX. She's part of a litter of 4 (Zöe, Wash, and Book are her siblings). She was spayed on August 19th, and she's up to date on all her shots. Miss Kaylee is a funny, energetic girl who loves to play with her siblings, climb, run super fast, and chase toys. She lives to play! When she's done she may snuggle down next to your leg to take a nap. She can be very sweet, but she is most interested in playing. She most definitely needs a young playmate and durable toys! She gets along well with her siblings and probably would with other cats. She has no option about her foster sibling, Bella (Great Pyrenees dog). She recently fractured her toe trying to do a back flip, but it's healing nicely and doesn't seem to bother her. Kaylee is such a spunky, precious little girl!

All of these kittens must go home with another young cat or kitten or to a home with another young cat or kitten (3 years or less). Preference will be given to adopters wanting more than one. !!UPDATE: $150 for one kitten or $200 for two kittens.!!! Zoe and Kaylee are particularly close.

If you are interested in adopting one or more of these precious babies, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com to request an application. Their foster home is located in Cleburne, TX.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
