Here's what the humans have to say about me:
!!UPDATE: $150 for one kitten or $200 for two kittens.!!! Book is a 5 month old medium hair black tabby kitten born in Cleburne, TX. He's part of a litter of 4 (Kaylee, Zöe, and Wash, are his siblings). He was spayed on August 19th, and he's up to date on all his shots. Book is the runt of the litter but he plays with his bigger siblings like he's as big as they are. He's definitely the cuddliest of the litter as he prefers to nap on his foster dad's lap when he's not playing. He has the cutest little meow that he uses to tell you he's HUNGRY! He's a very sweet, playful little boy! Book definitely needs a playmate as he loves to play and wrestle with his siblings. He loves toys with bells, but better make them durable! You will adore this sweet fluffy little guy!
All of these kittens must go home with another young cat or kitten or to a home with another young cat or kitten (3 years or less). Preference will be given to adopters wanting more than one. REDUCED ADOPTION FEES: Their adoption fees are $150. $200 for pairs.
If you are interested in adopting one or more of these precious babies, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com to request an application. Their foster home is located in Cleburne, TX.
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
