DREAM BOAT ALERT!!
This handsome, hazel eyed boy is DALLAS! He is everything you could ever want in a dog, radar ears included. He is a playful boy, who loves his toys and happily entertains himself for hours. He is always a joy to be around and is absolutely amazing at reading his human’s mood. If you want to spend the day playing and having fun, DALLAS is your man. That being said, if you want to enjoy a lazy day, relaxing around the house, DALLAS is perfectly happy to cuddle with you on the couch with you while you binge watch your favorite shows. DALLAS loves other dogs as much as (or more than) he loves people. He shares his foster home with 3 resident dogs who all adore him. He is incredibly gentle with the senior dog, playful with the mid-sized dog and respectful of the mastiff! He has the innate ability to read his fellow 4-legged friends and will seamlessly fit into any pack. We cannot say enough good things about DALLAS. He would benefit from having another dog in the home. He is housebroken, a total dream in his kennel and only chews on the things he knows are his. DALLAS is an athletic fellow who is always up for an adventure. He would make a perfect hiking or jogging partner. One of his favorite things to do is accompany his foster mom to dog friendly patios or venues and say hello to everyone. He has undeniably never met a stranger and greets all with a great big hug and smile! We always joke that this boy is the ideal "Walmart Greeter". If you are looking for a happy, outgoing, love bug, look no further. DALLAS is ready to fill that spot and bring so much light and warmth into his lucky forever family's life.

DALLAS is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
