Rodney is a very perky and active neutered male guinea pig around 1 year old. He is a short haired ginger and white piggie who came from a local animal shelter where he had been held for three months before being released to us.
He loves exploring and chasing around his cage; he enjoys a variety of veggies and also lap time and cuddles and is in excellent health.
Rodney enjoys fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow pellets every day. He will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes. The cage must be located in a part of the house the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy his company.
What would make Rodney’s life complete is the addition of either one or two female guinea pigs. Do you either have a single lady looking for her forever friend or a pair of ladies interested in having a handsome man in their lives? If so, please consider applying to adopt Rodney. Of course it will be entirely up to the piggies whether or not this is a match made in heaven; but we are happy to try some introductions.
Please note we will not adopt Rodney to live alone; as guinea pigs need the company of at least one other guinea pig to be happy. We also ask that anyone adopting him lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, or Frederick MD.
The adoption fee for Rodney is $65. If you are interested in finding out more about adopting this sweet piggie, please send an e-mail to guineapigs@smallangelsrescue.org. NOTE: We reply to all inquiries -- please remember to check your spam folder.
