Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Stella and my foster mom says I am a young 10-12 year old Chihuahua Mix. I was found wandering the streets of Lorain County, which was a very difficult thing for me because I am blind and hearing impaired. That’s why I can be skittish with loud noises or someone approaching me unannounced. But my foster mom says that I am a sweetheart because I like to cuddle and be with my human as much as possible. I was less than 8 lbs. when she picked me up and I have a skin condition that I’m being treated for and is on its way out. I’ve had all my shots and they say I have a strong heart and no other health issues except for my blindness. But, that doesn’t stop me from getting around. I’ll keep walking around until I have my surroundings memorized and as long as no one moves the water bowls I know where I can get a drink.
I would love to be a companion with someone who is home a lot and doesn’t mind me curling up beside them on the couch or chair. I have to say, I love sleeping with my human, it makes me feel safe. My foster mom is working on getting me use to a leash, she thinks I was never on one or maybe I had a fenced yard like she has. I’m not the yappy, snappy Chihuahua most people are familiar with. I will let out a bark occasionally when I think I lost my human or maybe do a little crying when I think I’m on my own. I’m housebroken, which my foster mom says is a real plus. I’ll miss my foster mom and foster siblings but I would love to keep someone company that is all alone, I’m waiting for you.
