Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing: The Handsomest Cat in the World! 🌟
Just kidding, my name is Mr. Photogenic. Okay no seriously, it’s Yoda. But look at my little smile! I’m tellin ya, the camera loves me.
It would be nice if I could find some people to love me though. I was found by a woman who couldn’t keep me because her other cat didn’t like me. Which sucks because I love other cats! I’m pretty popular here. I made lots of friends my first few days and some of the kitties would even argue over who got to cuddle with me. They had to put extra beds in the room I was hiding in because so many kitties wanted to hang out with me!
Once the humans accommodated my friends, I realized they were pretty nice. So I stopped hiding and now I love everyone! I especially love when the humans call me over for attention. I do this little trot thing to get to them quicker and the girls go crazy over it. I’ve been told I’m pretty lovable 🤷🏻♀️ and I’m only 2 so I have tons of love left to give!
Here’s the thing. See my big, hopeful eyes and the sweet smile? You’d think it’d win people over instantly. But most people won’t even look at me. You see, I have this thing called FIV. It’s not a big deal at all, but people used to think it was super scary and cats who had it couldn’t even be around cats who didn’t. They called it feline AIDS. But then doctors did lots of research and found out that’s not true! I can make all the friends I want, I don’t have AIDS, and my new family just has to know my immune system isn’t as great as most cats. But that’s easy! There’s tons of immune supplements and I’ll be fine! Unfortunately, most people are still stuck on the idea that FIV is scary, so no one even considers me. I try to tell them I’m not scary at all and they’re missing out on 15 years of the most loving boy ever, but they don’t care. Maybe you’ll consider me?
