My story

Meet Princess…
13 year old Princess is super sweet, cat friendly (no dogs, no kids, and loves nothing more than to relax with her humans. She enjoys short walks, a few throws with her ball and long naps. She will do best with someone who is home a lot and has time to spend with her as she really likes human companionship. We are looking for a foster hero in the NYC/NJ who can open their heart and home to this beautiful soul for the rest of her days. We will cover all care costs to her foster heroes

This 13 year old super senior was surrendered to the shelter after her mom died this past July 18th. No one in the family wanted to keep her. As luck would have it we were at the shelter picking up some other babies we rescued at the moment Princess was being surrendered. This sweet old gal was so gentle and we watched with tears rolling down our cheeks as she was led into the shelter. We were told by the person who surrendered her that Princess had lived with her mom since she was 2 weeks old.

Over the next week we kept in touch with the shelter to see if anyone had expressed any interest in her and sadly they hadn't. We even went to spend some time with her one day. It was then we knew we were meant to help her.
