My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just like a cuddly teddy bear, Yogi is searching for his forever, committed, loving home. Yogi is a two year old Doxie mix who has the sweetest soul with eyes to match! He came to us a broken, neglected and defeated pup who had never experienced a day of love or kindness. While in a loving foster home, he is now strong, his body has healed and he is ready to find his lifetime of love and kindness.

This darling boy enjoys playing fetch, having his toys close by and snuggles. He also loves sleeping in the human bed. His "family" will be very blessed to have such a faithful best friend!

Yogi’s best home includes:

-Home ownership, including a house without stairs and a fully fenced yard (no apartments)

-Someone home permanently full or part time

-Another young, small, gentle dog for easy companionship and cuddling

-Someone willing and able to continue Yogi’s strength training (acupuncture and/or hydrotherapy sessions every 3 – 4 months as needed)

-Someone active who will take Yogi on daily, gentle adventures outside of the home and yard, including flat trails, the beach and quiet parks, preferably within easy walking distance

- Older kids 15+ in age
