Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bickman!! He is a 5 year-old neutered 81lb standard Australian Shepherd. Bickman is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. Looking for his new forever family he’s a happy boy and constantly a wiggle butt!
Bickmans ideal home Is an active family with older children and a large fenced yard as he loves to run and also needs to exercise to help get him back down to his ideal weight. He also would need to be the only dog in the household as two years ago he was attacked by another dog and has become fearful aggressive towards other dogs. He has been with a trainer last year to work through these issues and he can now walk by other dogs and ignore them and even greet them properly through fences and gates. He also went through training to become a diabetic alert dog for his previous owner who unfortunately has been permanently hospitalized from her terrible disease.
His perfect family will get to do a lesson with his trainer. Bickman also ignores the cat Brody at his vets office but it’s unsure how he would do living with one so best a home without any. Bickman loves his people and really all people.
Bickman will absolutely not be able to live In An apartment he needs exercise and lots of play and adventures!! He is being fostered in Auburn GA
