This is the information that we received from Malo's current family:

This is our boy Malo, and as it breaks my heart to do this - we are having to rehome him. Malo is a year and a half (almost two) Pitbull Terrier puppy who we adopted from the shelter at the beginning of this year. He's neutered, up-to-date on all of his shots and is currently on flea and tick medication. He truly is an amazing dog, but not the right fit for a family with young kids. He has a lot of energy, and is very much still a puppy. He needs a family that can respect his boundaries, but also give him the love, affection, training he needs and the time to run his energy out. We are rehoming him because we have two young kids, and from what we’ve seen, he is not a fan of all the loud noise and chaos and kids intruding in his space. We suggest he is the only pet as he isn’t fond of cats (we’ve never seen him interact with any, but every time he sees them through our window, he immediately starts barking, and wanting to chase them) and we’ve tried introducing him to one dog, and neither dog was having it - by that, I mean it didn’t seem like a good fit ,so we separated before anything physical could go on. Although the paperwork we have from the shelter said he did good with his kennel mate and a few other dogs, so maybe we just went about the introduction wrong. As far as behavior goes, he is very high-strung, and has a ton of energy. He knows basic commands such as "sit," "stay," "shake," "drop it"(he loves chewing on toys) and "kennel up." He is very vocal, and will let you know when he has to go potty by barking until you let him out (he’s also potty trained lol) he does have a tendency to get mouthy, and by that I mean like when a puppy is playing, and they use their teeth. I feel like he was possibly never trained out of that behavior. He has never bit anyone in a forceful or aggressive manner - we have been working on training him out of that.

Note: A small re-homing fee will apply to ensure a good home.
