Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, Basil! She is an almost 4 month old Border Collie mix from our Herb Litter. Basil and her littermates spent the first 8 weeks of their lives without much human contact, but Basil has come such a long way. She seeks out attention from people and dogs she knows, and loves to be held and cuddled. Basil has a thick, medium length coat. An owner dedicated to regular brushing can probably bypass visits to a professional groomer but keeping her coat smooth and the mats at bay will be an ongoing responsibility. Basil is still young and potty training is an ongoing task, but she is already responding consistently to her potty training cues.
Just shy of 4 months old, Basil weighs a little over 12 lbs. When dealing with mixed breeds, size estimation can be a bit of a gamble, but we guess Basil will be about 20 lbs full grown. She is being fostered in a home with cats and other dogs, but large and small. Her adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, flea/tick preventative, and spay/neuter. If Basil is 'mint' to be yours, please email us for an application at howlelujah.rescue@gmail.com
