Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stripe and Gizmo are a 10 year old bonded sibling pair that have been together since birth. They must not be separated. We would prefer a home in or close to Chilliwack BC, but are flexible for the right adopters.
They are strictly INDOOR ONLY cats. They have NEVER been outdoors and to do so at this age would be a death sentence. They would probably love a secure catio, but cannot be safe on leash or free outside.
They LOVE their humans. They will literally sit on your head. If you want personal space, these are not the cats for you. They are so incredibly affectionate, they like to be where you are and will take great joy in cuddling with you and grooming you. They are used to sleeping on the bed with their humans. They have so much love to give. They have been around children, are used to them, and very affectionate with them as well. They are not shy with strangers in the the home and definitely not timid cats.
They have been around other cats, but we would like them to be the only cats in their new home.
They have been raised around dogs, so have no fear of them. They can be bossy with smaller dogs, and are probably best with dogs 50+ lbs in size, or no dogs at all.
Stripe is a very low maintenance cat who may need to transition to vet brand urinary kibble in the next year.
Gizmo likes to be brushed, but if you are not on top of it daily she can mat quickly. She is used to Diamond Mobile Pet Care in Chilliwack giving her “lions cut” shaves and this works really well to eliminate hair balls etc.
They have had full geriatric blood panels with urinary analysis’ completed this summer, and xrays for Stripe, and they are in very good health. There is no adoption fee for these girls, but there will be an adoption application, home interview, and adoption contract to ensure the best placement.
