My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm named "Little Orphan Annie" because I was found as a stray with evidence that I had been abandoned. I am still a lot of puppy, so I am really best with an active family and one who doesn't have little kids. I am looking for a family that will work on my over-excited, jump and play attitude, so a family that is used to a large breed puppy and is able to help me achieve "awesomeness" is best for me. I'm pretty cute so I will have lots looking to add me to their family. Please consider coming to meet me if you have all the things SPR says I need.

Annie is now 7 months old. Her foster family has been working on house training and she is getting the hang of it more each day, but still will need more work to be 100%. She is active, athletic and smart. She wants to learn and have a family that can work with that energy and channel into some obedience skills. She would be best in a home with older kids (even kids that are used to big dogs and puppies), she has been good with other dogs and needs a yard to run off all that crazy puppy energy.

****Adoption of a puppy****

The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). We have criteria for our adoptions of puppies.
--Puppies are adopted on a foster to adopt basis until the puppy is old enough to be neutered/spayed (we prefer them to be no younger than 9 months old) and all shots are complete.
--Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be protected from the pool with fencing or a cover.
--Home visits for shots will be required, so puppies are adopted to homes in Maricopa County only.
--Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates what home is best matched with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown .

If you can give Annie an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.

Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a puppy and providing for it's FOREVER home.
