Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finnegan was rescued from a neglect situation. Although it's obvious that this senior boy has not experienced much love in his life, and he is wary, he desperately wants the care.
Finnegan is estimated to be 16+ years old. He is gentle, and loves being pet, but often cringes away from fast movements or a raised hand until it starts petting him. He talks frequently in his craggy old man voice, asking for food, attention, and giving his opinion on the state of the world.
Finnegan is FeLV/FIV (-/-), but he does have several medical conditions which require long term treatment. He has cysts in his ears, which can be itchy and uncomfortable, and may require intermittent treatment. He has intermittent inflammatory bowel disease/pancreatitis, although it is well controlled by a daily anti-nausea/anti-inflammatory medicine. Lastly, he has heart disease, which is managed with a daily pill that he also eats in his food.
Finnegan has been fine with the other animals he has been exposed to, but hasn't shown any real interest in meeting them. He would be fine with calm older animals who will give him his own space. He will thrive in a home that has the time and patience to give him the attention he craves.
