Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alright y'all, brace yourselves for Valentine! This squat chonky chonk (American Bully, not Bull Terrier) is full of muscle, snorts, and love. However, she also needs some exeercise to get rid of her extra "belly fat". People are great, and other dogs are SO much fun to play with! However she is a rough, vocal player which can intimidate nervous dogs. She doesn't mean anything by it, we promise! However she does tend to get bored and into a bit of trouble if she doesn't have another dog around, so a home with a canine playmate would be best for her. Valentine is great for squishes and never fails to make us all laugh. Though she's not high energy per se, she likes to play and romp when the mood strikes throughout the day. She does well off leash here at the shelter and never wants to stray far from her people. About 4 years old, Valentine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Interested adopters can fill out an application by clicking "ONLINE APPLICATION" here: https://secondchanceas.org/adoption-application
We do not ask for set adoption fees but instead ask for an adoption donation based on the costs of providing the dog with basic medical care (spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.), normally $175-$200 for a female dog. All adoption donations go 100% toward the care of our wonderful animals!
