Memphis, TN - Sweet Kelly is ready for her forever home!! She is approximately 3 years old and responds to Kelly or Sparkleberry (foster dad’s nickname for her).

Kelly is young with a lot of energy but can also be a snuggler (just make sure you tire her out first). This girl loves kids, all humans and is dog friendly. She is relaxed, loving, playful and easy going. She absolutely loves playing fetch outside, playing in the water hose and barking at the lawnmower/grass-cutting device that invades her yard.

She listens well, knows sit and is easily corrected. She enjoys a nice Netflix and chill day with her humans and is an excellent cuddler. She does well in the car and other touristy areas like parks, and loves to get attention and kisses.

Kelly would do well in a home with other dogs OR or as an only dog, and has a somewhat submissive personality. If she’s an only dog, she will definitely need an outlet for her energy!

She listens to other dogs when they want to be left alone, but isn’t scared to approach new dogs with a wagging tail. She can play a little rough so slow introductions with supervision may be needed at first. She’s excited and full of energy when she meets other dogs and people, but she’s just happy to be alive.

Kelly will require a fenced yard so she can burn off her energy (and for fetch of course), and while she LOVES kids, we do not adopt to homes with kids under the age of 5 years old.

She has not met any cats, but we can try and cat test if needed. She is crate trained, potty trained, spayed, UTD on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative.
