Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aurora is a beautiful puppy with lots of love to give. She gets along great with people and loves children. She is in a foster home with lots of dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and parakeets, and gets along beautifully with all of them. She was rescued from the street next to a trash bin after what appeared to be both recent & past abuse. Her back was fractured and she had open puncture wounds, as well as a broken jaw that had since healed on it's own. Unfortunately, it was too late for surgical intervention, but she was treated by our Vet and has regained the ability to walk & run without pain, although her walk will never be 100% “normal”. That doesn’t stop her from enjoying all life has to offer, as she loves to run and play, just like any other puppy. And don’t feel sorry for her, because little miss attitude doesn’t think there is anything she can’t do! She is looking for a kind and loving forever home.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.
Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!
*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*
**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
