My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy (mom) and Tucker (son) have been doing amazing. While I know their situation is confusing I am surprised at how well they've adapted. Roxy is a bit skittish at times, but nothing that won't pass with time. She doesn't like to walk across my hardwood floors for some reason so for breakfast and dinner I take her bowl over to where her bed is. Same goes for the water bowl. Past that she's been eating and drinking normally. Roxy is also not a fan of stairs so most nights she sleeps downstairs on the couch. One night I did pick her up and took her upstairs to sleep with Tucker and myself. She seems to be ok on the couch tho, but every morning I go downstairs she's sitting on the floor waiting for Tucker and I to come down. They both have the best wiggles when you walk inside the door. They both LOVE their walks every morning and several in the evening. They love being together on the couch even if there isn't quite enough room for all three of us.
Tucker is just a big old goofy boy that doesn't let much bother him. They are both absolute snuggly love bugs. They both walk great on leashes but would probably be happier if they had a yard big enough to run around in. As for other dogs, I introduced them both to two English mastiffs that live in my neighborhood the other day, both over 150lbs, and they all seemed to not be bothered by the other. Tucker wants to know where you are at all times. Since he doesn't mind the steps he is right behind you most of the time. I imagine Roxy would be the same way if she didn't fear the stairs. Not sure how they are with toddlers/babies, but I do know that the previous owner had grown kids around (9 yrs old and up) that weren't a problem for for either dog. My only concern would be Tucker not knowing his strength and accidentally knocking a younger child over. Neither of them are jumpers. If we are going for a walk one of them may jump once, but it's not all the time or excessive, mostly an excited jump if any at all. Both are house trained. There have not been any accidents. Neither dog is a chewer. I even left out two chew toys and neither of them act like they know what to do with it. Both are excellent, well-behaved, people person dogs. They love their humans. Roxy is eight & Tucker is seven. They’re both active & love to play & run. Roxy has the broader white stripe down her nose and Tucker has the darker face/mask.
