My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Aiko Akai C. My foster mom put some thought into my name. Aiko means "Child of Love" in Japanese. Akai is the color red in Japanese like my favorite red chair I like to curl up on. C is my last name...that's easy - short for Cat in English. My friends Ally Merlot C and Ava C all took the same last name so we could be a family and hopefully find each other online when facebook comes up with a platform for cats.

So you want to know about me? I am a puuuuurrrrring machine who loves my feline friends and my human caregivers. We all hang out in the living room every night and watch old episodes of Cheers. We get to run around and play and then fall asleep on the humans until they go to bed. They are awesome and treat us really well. They can't keep us though because there are other kittens that need their help. There are 4 big dogs in the house. They want to stick their nose in my butt so I am not too fond of them. Dogs are super rude! I think I would like a dog that had better manners.

I want to come live with you and enjoy my new family for many years to come. If you want me to bring along some of my friends they would love to come with me. My human caregiver says she would be happy to send us away in pairs or even all 3 if there is that special family that needs that much love. Our adoption fee could be reduced with a multi-adoption discount. The money you pay for us goes directly to spay/neuter/vaccinate other kittens. Our human caregivers don't use the money for themselves...in fact they spend a lot of their own money on us. On average they say we cost them around $120 each if we are healthy. They love us a lot and that is why they take such good care of us.

Ava C and I go to the Humane Society of Catawba County on August 18th to be spayed and get our rabies shot. We have had 2 distemper shots already and have been dewormed.

Please let our humans know if you want to find out more about us.

Thanks,
Aiko Akai C
