Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RASPBERRY was rescued in April 2003 by Friends Forever. She had lived her entire life in a rabbit hutch crammed full of other dogs. She was used soley for breeding purposes. She was a puppymill dog. Raspberry is an apricot Toy Poodle. She is about 7 years old. She weighs about 8 lbs. and is in great shape now. She certainly was pathetic when we first rescued her. We have had her teeth cleaned and the rotten ones pulled. She does not have many teeth left but she does fine with her food. She is also spayed, current on her vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. When we rescued Raspberry she was dehydrated and had a respiratory infection. Her teeth were rotten and she was very pregnant. She had her puppies with us but they all died because her milk was filled with bacteria because her uterus was infected. Raspberry has definitely had a sad time so far in life. You can tell by looking in her little brown eyes that she has suffered. Our mission is to find her the perfect forever home. She would best be suited in a home where she gets a lot of attention. She is shy at first but easily warms up. When we first rescued her she would scream when you tried to pick her up and would run when she saw you coming. She is so much better now. Raspberry will make a delightful, loving and very grateful comapnion pet if given the chance. If you are interested in meeting Raspberry please click on our name below listed in blue and forward us an online adoption application. You can also send us an inquiry via e-mail by clicking on our address in orange listed below. Thank you so very much for your interest in adopting a rescue pet from Friends Forever.
