My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie is part of our bully crew! She is a 4yr old English Bulldog recently rescued from a backyard breeding situation. Since her breeder no longer had any use for her and was looking to give her up, some good folks took her in but were soon overwhelmed by the care she needed. RTR stepped in to give her a new chance at life including vet care and placement in a new foster home. She may have lived outside cranking out puppies her whole life, but that's all in her past now!

This sweet, mellow, even-tempered mama bonds quickly with her humans and is a lover of toys. Josie adapted to a life indoors quickly, is fully potty trained and a total pro at fetch. She’s also discovered a love for the ocean and wave chasing! Although being beach adjacent in her next life may be her preference, one thing for sure is that Josie’s next home cannot have stairs, as she does have hip dysplasia. She does get along with other dogs, but tends to get jealous quickly, so would do best as the only dog in her next home. Is this just the gal you’ve been looking for?
