Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lavender
Lavender is a Lovely German Shepherd who is about 3 years old and is full grown at around 60lbs. Lavender loves playing with other dogs and toys but is also an amazing snuggler. She is a tad shy around strangers at first but the moment she warms up, she will show you how amazing she really is. Lavender wants a person/family who will provide her with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping her safe and happy. She loves to be with her people, so she needs a plan if there are longer workdays, so she is not spending too much time in a crate.
Lavender came to us after she was found roaming the streets. She has a chip but unfortunately it was never registered. After many attempts to find an owner no one has come forth.
We hold an event every weekend at our facility but EACH WEEKEND is DIFFERENT. To see how our event is being held you must visit our FACEBOOK page the day of Saturday and Sunday. You MUST submit an APPLICATION via email, our application is found on our website lovejoyfoundation.org. PLEASE UNDERSTAND sending an inquiry through any site other than submitting an application through lovejoyfoundation.org IS NOT an application and you will NOT be considered for the dog/puppy/ or kitten you're interested in, as it is JUST an INQUIRY. We are a Southern California based rescue, we do not adopt out more than a 30 minute radius. We appreciate you being understanding and Patient as we attempt to go back to a new normal.
