My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RayRay is being fostered in Chicago

Update: RayRay is doing fantastic! His neuter and dental went very well (though he did end up losing 13 teeth). He is the happiest, and most easy going dog in my house right now. He has so much love to give and is really taking to being an indoor dog now. He loves to be near his people and is starting to get the hang of snuggling, which he has started asking for pets and affection in the cutest ways! He was heartworm positive, but has begun his treatment and is so far tolerating everything extremely well. He has a couple more months to go in his protocol but let me tell you he is worth the wait!
What RayRay's foster mom has to say about him:RayRay is such an amazing guy! He was previously an outdoor-only dog who spent all his time chained up. He is initially a little shy but with a few treats and time to get his bearings he quickly warms up! He loves to play with squeaky toys and loves rolling around the grass and exploring outside. He especially loves to be near his people, and is now hooked on pets and ear massages, but he is also completely content to just be at your feet while working. His heart is so big, and he's hoping there might be a little room in yours for him too!

He is not officially potty trained, but so far we have had almost no accidents. He loves having a schedule and is very good at going to the bathroom outside when let out.

He is not very comfortable walking on a leash, which we are working on, but he will likely do best in a home with access to a yard.

He is overall healthy, though he did have some dental disease. RayRay will be getting neutered and a dental cleaning on 8/11/20!

He currently lives with 2 other dogs and 2 cats and is very easy going.
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
