We love Lucy! If you are looking for a cuddly girl who can transition from couch potato to adventure hound in an instant, Lucy would be a great match for you. Lucy is an approx 7 month old basset/ lab mix. She caught a ride to Colorado from an Oklahoma shelter with two of her siblings, and has been enjoying the mountains, her new back yard, and her foster brothers. She has conquered short hikes, a night camping in a tent, and discovered a love for water. Lucy is dog friendly, kid friendly, and has shown she is adaptable to new situations. She would love a home with a fenced in yard and another dog friend, but would also do well as an only child as long as her people are frequently home to rub her belly. She is very human oriented and will be velcro to her new parents. You can't go far without Lucy underfoot, but her eagerness to be near her people has made her a breeze to train. Lucy has picked up on potty training and basic commands like a seasoned pro. Lucy has also taken to crate training as well, and now enjoys the sanctuary of her crate and sleeps peacefully there at night. Lucy has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and HW-. If you are interested in meeting Lucy, complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check and meet and greet with everyone in the home including current pets. Lucy's adoption fee is $395. Note that we are not doing any out of state adoptions at this time.
