My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is an approx 2 y/o 20# energetic Doxie/terrier blend looking for her forever home. Mia is our longest term foster because she is so shy/timid. She doesn't warm up to strangers very quickly and takes a couple days so she's looking for humans who understand that and will take the time needed to let Mia come around on her own terms. The following is REQUIRED in Mia's new home: 1)Another friendly playful dog her size and age, 2)A secure fenced (preferably 6 ft) in yard, 3)A female caregiver, 4) NO children. She LOVES to go on walkies and is potty trained when let out often. Mia would make a great jogging partner or an agility player, but maybe not in the competitive sense. Mia has lots of love to give but not until she trusts you. Mia would do best in a quiet, low key home with humans who like to spend time there and are not gone long hours. Mia's ideal home would be an active yet low key adult-only and female-only home where at least one person is home often. Mia isn't a social butterfly and would not enjoy outings to dog parks or breweries or anywhere that has lots of people and commotion. If interested in meeting Mia and you meet the requirements above, complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms . We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Mia is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Mia's adoption fee is $375 and we are not doing out of state adoptions right now.
