Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note: Sadie is currently being fostered in Alabama and will transport to her new family once she has been adopted. If you would like to learn more about her please fill out a application and we will put you in contact with her Alabama foster family
Meet Sadie! She's an 8 y/o Black Lab and is a solid sized pup. Sadie is playful, loves walks, and can appreciate a good Star Trek Marathon with the best of them. Yes, she's 8 but has a lot of life to live and plenty of love to give. Plus we think the grey fur speckles make her look distinguished. Sadie was taken in and fostered by a loving lady who wanted to give Sadie the best opportunity to find her furever family. Sadie has been fully vetted and is ready to go! As you can tell, she's great with other pups plus strangers and kids too! She's housebroken and knows where the treats are located wherever she is so be ready! Also, if you decide to adopt a settled adult, you don't have to worry about chewing, nipping, and similar behaviors. Sadie is a distinguished lady and while she loves to play, she doesn't have time for those misbehavior shenanigans. If Sadie might be the one for you, please let us know. This lady is an absolute joy and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. She's currently in Alabama but can be adopted anywhere along our transport route.
If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adoption-application
PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
