Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this beautiful girl named Caroline! She came into the shelter July 7, 2020 when her owner could no longer keep her. She is a special girl who needs a special home. She is 4 years old, current on shots, spayed, house broken and owner says seems to like most other dog just not small dogs or those who are dominate. She lived in a home with a cat. A home without children is best for her. She can be quirky when trying to get her to do something she doesn’t want to do and does not like going to the vets. She will have to be muzzled when taken to the vet to prevent a accident from occurring. She loves to play in water and enjoys boating as well as playing fetch with a ball. She is smart and eager to learn and please. Just needs a owner that has experience with dogs that have quirks and is willing to work with her. She’s great and walks wonderful on a leash. Maybe you have the most perfect loving home for sweet Caroline?! Stop by the shelter for a meet and greet today!
If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance.
The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.
