Meet Ellie!   This quick video shows her prancing happily in the yard as she loves doing early in the morning.  https://youtu.be/PRLNJjt7AtI

Sweet Ellie was born on February 8, 2017, and she is Pyrfectly sized at 80 pounds.

Ellie’s favorite place in the world is indoors with her people.  She loves being in the house cuddling with her humans.  She relishes being by your side whether you’re relaxing during the day or sleeping at night.

She is great with children and will lay sweetly next to them as they read a book together.

Although she is fine with other dogs, she might do best as an only dog, because when she gets started playing with others, she doesn’t have an “off switch.”  She doesn’t understand when they signal that playtime is over.  She continues trying to play with them, they become annoyed, and she becomes frenzied.  This can escalate.

Ellis is house trained and walks nicely on leash.  She is crate trained, but has no need for one.

She is not much of a barker, but will join the other dogs if they are barking.   She rides nicely in a car.  We don’t know how she is with cats, but we can find out if needed.

This gorgeous girl is ready to find her forever loving family.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
