Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jackson is a very handsome 2-3 year old Black and Tan Coonhound waiting in the Indianapolis area for a new home after being picked up stray. Jackson is affectionate, loving, cuddly and will be great with kids of all ages. He is adjusting well to life in a home and doing well with housebreaking. Slightly underweight at about 65 lbs, Jackson is a tall, leggy boy. Like most coonies, he is food motivated, scent driven, and good on a leash unless he sees a squirrel. He gets along well with other dogs, including the young puppies in his foster home. NO cats, please. His skills include walking on a treadmill, "sit" and "down" and he is working on "stay". Jackson is affectionate, loving, cuddly and will be great with kids of all ages. He is slightly afraid of storms but not a pacer or barker; he just gets nervous and finds a quiet, dark place to hide. He would do best in a home with a doggie playmate and a fenced yard.
If you think you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful coonie, please fill out an online adoption application at https://www.coonhoundrescue.com/adoptionform1.html
