My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings humans!!! My name is Archie.. and I'm from Arkansas. I came to the Chgo area with some other shepherds. It was a long trip and I was very happy to be out of the cemetery where we were found abandoned. I was dehydrated and very skinny. So now I'm in a nice foster home with good food, toys, bones and other dogs to play with. I am shy and afraid of the leash to walk on, but trying to understand the concept. Yet Aunt Kathy says there is some sad news about my hips. I have severe dysplasia in the right hip and also in the left. My first surgery is scheduled, My forever home would be best with very few stairs. Aunt Kathy says I can be adopted now and my new family will just have to follow the instructions on rehab. She has done over a dozen of these surgeries and is a pro. Once the surgeries are done, you will never no I had a problem and I will be free of pain. I live up to my name... very affection and silly.
