Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
White-out is what we call our morning cat. As soon as we wake up she is there to greet us with a friendly "Meow!". White-out was brought to us when she was a small kitten her mother was roaming around outside when she was found. She has since then grown into a beautiful white adult cat.
***Attention*** we have a rather unique adoption process. If you are interested in one of our cats, we will talk with you via email and/or phone. If we're all comfortable with each other, we will schedule a time to bring the cat(s) you're interested to your home. If all goes well, we enact a trial period in which the cat remains at your home, in your care. This is usually a week or two. If, at the end of this time, you are happy and the cat is happy (and usually the two things are directly related to each other!) the cat becomes entirely yours. We will always accept back any of our cats, no matter how long it's been since the adoption, but this gives a buffer period where people can sort of "test drive" the relationship. It also serves a couple of purposes for us. Firstly, it allows us to reassure ourselves that our cats are going to a real family in a real home. Secondly, it allows our sick, injured or abused animals in our shelter/home to be free of the stress that ensues from frequent visits by strangers. Please keep in mind we are just a family (and the occasional friendly helper) doing our best to help out. We're not a "shelter" in the normal context in that we don't have a separate building to house our animals. We also have no funding but what we provide, so, regretfully, we cannot take your cat at this time! This provides a benefit, though, in that our animals have all been directly socialized with humans 24 hours a day since they arrived. We give them the intensive attention that they can only get in a home. They also have a chance to get accustomed to other animals (dogs and other cats, particularly) so that they can comfortably fit into more types of homes.
