My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Short, stubby, underbite, and just about the silliest dog you will ever meet, how could anyone resist Rickles? He is just about as funny as the guy he was named after, Don Rickles, that as well all know had some unique features himself-lol! Rickles has been a hoot, we have all enjoyed him so much in this foster home. He thinks he is one of the big boys, tearing around the yard on those itty bitty legs, doesn't slow him down one bit. But, when he gets tired he doesn't mind if you want to carry him around, he may hate to admit it but he loves some snuggling and being a little baby as well. Rickles was estimated to be around 2 years old but we think he is a bit older than that, he has a bit of tartar on his teeth but that seems to be improving with a good diet, some chew toys would help as well. He is about 7 pounds of fun and will do well with an active home, a fenced-and very secure yard would be great, he is small enough to escape thru little openings. Rickles is doing very well with his housebreaking. After being recently neutered he had the urge to mark in the house, we have watched him like a hawk, catch him in the act and get him outside. We also take frequent potty breaks for all of our foster dogs that are trying to figure out their new digs, it is confusing for them. Rickles adoptive family will have to continue that same effort, it just takes time and patience. Rickles' adoption fee is $300 and he will go home with plenty of supplies to help him settle.
